Associate
Erik is an associate attorney at Silverman, Tokarsky & Forman L.L.C. in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Erik earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Washington & Jefferson College in 2021. He graduated summa cum laude and was honored to be valedictorian of his graduating class. He earned his Juris Doctor from Penn State Law in 2024, where he graduated magna cum laude. He was also honored to be inducted into the Order of the Coif while at Penn State Law.

Erik worked as a law clerk at Silverman, Tokarsky & Forman for three years before becoming an associate attorney at the firm. During law school, he worked as a legal intern at the Penn State Law Family Law Clinic. He also helped at the Penn State Law Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic by assisting veterans with their VA disability claims. Erik joined the Pennsylvania Bar Association in 2024.
Erik received several awards during his academic career. He earned awards for his work in family law clinics, basic federal income taxation, comparative constitutional law seminars, and administrative law from the nonprofit Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI). He received the Joanne Ross Wilder Law Student Scholarship in January 2023. He also worked as managing editor for the Penn State Law Review (Vol. 128) and joined both the Woolsack Honor Society and Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
Erik wrote “Rebels Among Ruins: Policies, Procedures, and Laws Surrounding Confederate Monuments Post-Removal” in March 2024. His article appears in Volume 128 of the Penn State Law Review.
Erik joined the Cambria County Bar Association in 2024. He recently earned accreditation from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of General Counsel, which allows him to represent veterans in their VA claims. He has also been a social member of the Somerset County Bar Association since March 2025.
Erik has been a lifelong resident of the Johnstown area and is passionate about staying connected with his community. In his free time, he enjoys reading historical non-fiction and sampling local craft beers.
